Biografía
Jose Espinosa began his career in 1954, writing the police comic “S.C.I. de Valor”, yet with a very immature style. He showed himself to be more professional through the successful “Kit-boy” (1956-1959) by Soriano, under the influence of Luis Bermejo of Aventuras del FBI. He achieved, however, his highest popularity thanks to his work in “Hazañas Bélicas de Toray”, where he gave life to Sargento Gorila, in 1966. Jose Espinosa also adapted many literary tales in the collections: Novelas Gráficas (Toray, 1966) and Joyas Literarias Juveniles (Bruguera, 1974-1975).
