Capitán Barato Ediciones fue creada por Daniel Müller, autor del comic homónimo, que nació en 2014 tomando el estereotipo del típico looser que, mediante un guiño del destino, se convierte en un súper hombre que lleva a cabo una cruzada contra la inflación ayudando a la gente a conseguir precios bajos. “El personaje comenzó a tomar forma en 2009, lo armé basándome en muchas cosas que me pasaron a mí”, afirma Daniel Müller, quien se asoció en 2016 al productor Max Coronel y al director Mariano Sciamarella con la idea de llevar su publicación al terreno audiovisual. De esta manera, comenzó la producción de una miniserie, sumando a otros personajes que componen el Universo Barato: Alto Voltaje, El Guaraní y la superheroína Miss Capi.

Franco Viglino

Biografía
He graduated as Graphic Designer at the Facultad de Diseño y Urbanismo in the Universidad de Buenos Aires, he took drawing lessons all his childhood. He was a student in the workshop La Productora where he learnt about comics. He currently publishes his work Jellykid for Purple Books, which has two compiling books. He also works for the foreign market (Spinnerette, Smosh).

Germán Erramouspe

Biografía
Argentine artist born in 1981. He debuted professionally in mid-2005 in the anthology Bastión Unlimited, where he drew El Hombre Primordial, written by Mauro Mantella. He participated in Libertadores, for Captain Ediciones, The Green Hornet for Dynamite Comics, and various series for Avatar Press such as Night of the Living Dead: Aftermath, Disenchanted, Dark Gods and Crossed.

Lea Caballero

Biografía
"Lea Caballero (1990) is an editor in Purple Books, which he founded in 2013. He created series like Yo Nen (Purple Books, 2016) and Mad Hawk, , his work has been published by several local publishers. He has contributed to the screenplay and illustration of the Capitán Barato project. He complements his comic book work with teaching and he has given lectures and led workshops in Tecnópolis, the Feria del Libro Infantil y Juvenil [Youth and Children's Book Fair], the Jardín Japonés, Espacio CRUMB and the Primera Escuela de Arte Multimedial Da Vinci, where he teaches comic books with Manuel Loza and Marcia Juarez. In 2015, he won the contest Ymir of Larp publishers with his work Daemon, screenplay by Mariano Sciammarella. In 2017, also with Mariano Sciammarella, he received an honorable mention in the international contest Silent Manga Audition, organized by the Japanese editorial Coamix."

Nicolás Gath

Biografía
Nicolás Gath became known for hosting the Tierra-X podcast with Javi Paredes. A comic book lover, he decided to launch herself as a comic book writer, and his first published work is Lucas Leppe’s The Ark.
